Workshop Qualitative Approaches in Social Research | 7th of April 2017  | Suceava, Romania

Scope | Making the BA, MA and Doctoral Students, as well as young researchers in the social and humanistic fields, become familiar with the specific of qualitative approach in the social research, and in particular with the methodology specific for Grounded Theory. In the workshop, we will present the particularities related to:

  • postpozitivism versus social constructionism
  • classic and exploratory approach of Grounded Theory
  • the specific of Grounded Theory research
  • the design of qualitative research through Grounded Theory
  • the processes of coding
  • using memos
  • the saturation of the model and the validation of the research

After the presentation, there will be a session of questions and answers.

The participants to the workshop will receive a printed material including the presentation and the research models conducted through Grounded Theory.
