The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has grabbed the attention of the global community.
As we prepare for the 14th LUMEN International Scientific Conference RSCAVP2020, May 22- 23, 2020, Iasi, Romania we want to assure you that the LUMEN association and the conference organizing team are closely monitoring the virus development.
Considering this particular situation, we are opening the registration with virtual participation for all the authors, no matter the origin of the institution of affiliation. We recommend for those interested in registering at the conference to opt in for the poster or virtual presentation. We will take all the necessary measures to provide access to all the virtual presentations for the entire conference audience.

As you already know, The Global Health is in a crisis period these days, and unfortunately we have no specific data on how long it is going to last.
With much regret, we are announcing that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the in-person meeting of the 14th LUMEN RSACVP 2020 International Scientific Conference, on May 22- 23, 2020 may be cancelled, and moved to virtual and poster presentations.
As the pandemic continues to unfold, LUMEN Association and the conference organizing team aim at:
- minimizing the health impacts for participants and wider communities that could be associated with attending the conference;
- adapting the conference planning as needed so we can help disseminate the research and further broaden the academic global network of people working in scientific fields.
Because we don’t want to give up and cancel the event, and we want to face this crisis using our best potential, we continue our registration period, but certain things have been changed:
- at this moment, we no longer accept oral presentation submissions, but only poster and virtual presentations.
- normal registration period will end on April 15th, 2020 – authors will be able to submit abstracts for poster and virtual presentation.
- late registration period will be up until May 5th, 2020 – authors will be able to submit abstracts for virtual presentation only, if the authors will send their video recording of the presentation.
If you will register with POSTER presentation |
Submit your abstract at firstname.lastname@example.org. We kindly ask you to inform us if you will create your own poster, or you will opt in for us to do it for you. Please see bellow the available options:
- #1. if you will design your poster – you should use the Corel Draw template and create your poster starting from the resume of your paper. After creating it, you should send it to us (in PDF or JPG format), via email@example.com, so to be confirmed by us from the point of view of the graphical, ethical and editorial compliance. After our team approves it, the poster will be posted on the Facebook page of the LUMEN Conference Center, on the online poster session.
- #2. if you chose for us to create your poster – (for a 20 euro poster design fee)- based on your paper resume, sent by email, we will proceed to create your poster, using the same Corel Draw poster template. After creating it, the poster will be sent to you for confirmation. After your approval, the poster will be uploaded on the Facebook page of the LUMEN Conference Center, on the online poster session.
All the posters will be included on the electronic conference materials also, and made available online on the Conference website, for a large audience.

The 14th edition of LUMEN International Scientific Conference is a transdisciplinary event, whose general objective is to promote scientific excellence, encouraging original researches.
The goal of LUMEN RSACVP 2020 focuses on the interference between the new theoretical approaches and the social and educational practice, taking into account the need for an ethical resize of the social action.
The Scientific Sessions of the LUMEN RSACVP 2020 International Conference will be scheduled for Friday and Saturday (May 22nd – 23rd). The Conference will also include a series of Associated Conferences and Events, scheduled for the entire 2 days, which will be soon available on the website.
We expect papers with transdisciplinary approach, that are related to at least one of the following topics: Social Sciences (Sociology, Communication, Social Work, Anthropology), Humanities (Applied Philosophy, Ethics – including Applied Ethics & Bioethics-, History, Religious Studies, Language, Arts & Architecture), Education (Psychology, Educational Sciences, Sport), Political Sciences (Politics, European Studies, International Relations), Law (Public & Private Law), Economics (Management, Marketing, Economy), Public Health & Medical Humanities, or other related domains, join us today and send your Abstract.

Call for workshops |
We encourage researchers and scholars, who wish to organize Workshops on specific topics related to the Conference theme, to apply as Workshop Coordinator, and send us an application containing the description and other necessary details (using the Workshop-proposal-template). In order for a Workshop Proposal to be selected as an event within the Conference, the application must contain at least 5 presentations of different authorship, but no more than 2 presentations/(co)author.

Call for Plenary Speakers | We wish to encourage the scholars who are interested in giving a plenary speech, to propose a transdisciplinary lecture on a topic of great interest for the current times. The Scientific Committee will carefully evaluate each proposal, based on the candidate’s resume and Abstract of presentation, and chose up to 5 speeches, that will add up to the invited Keynote Speakers. Venue | Same as the year before, the 2020 edition of LUMEN RSACVP will be held in Iasi, Romania.
