The first national event dedicated to ethics in social work, organized under the anniversary edition of 15 years of LUMEN, by the Territorial Branch CNASR Iasi and LUMEN Association, LUMEN Research Center in Social and Humanistic Sciences and LUMEN Consultancy and Training Center.

The workshop “Current challenges in social work: Ethics and social services” will be held on April 13^th 2016, as extraordinary event associated with WLC2016, opening the scientific and cultural events of World  LUMEN Congress 2016.

Scope | The purpose of the workshop is to debate social practice under the challenges of contemporary ethics. There are expected papers approaching the issue of current social work from the perspective of the governing ethical values, at theoretical and practical level, without drawing a precise disciplinary border. We encourage the transdisciplinary approaches that exceed the existing cleavage between theoretical and empirical. We invite social workers, academics, bachelor, masters and doctoral students interested in ethics in social services.
