Overview | The pace of accelerating changes, in technology, is transforming our human world somehow faster that we could analyze all its dimensions and implications. This is why, among the Romanian Doctoral Schools in Philosophy, at Suceava we are trying to build a distinct research ecosystem, around the big themes of the Philosophy of Technology: human enhancement, Technological Singularity, Social Networking Ethics, Privacy in the Digital Era, Values conflicts under the consequences of the breakthrough technologies, Human mind in our increasing dependency of artifacts a.s.o. It is the perfect time for a reconciliation of the
two worlds of researchers: those from the physical siences (largo sensu) and those from the humanities, in order to secure through applied research our common future in a better world.
